Welcome to Protea Valley Family Church
By Jesus grace we’re a growing gospel centred church in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. Around two hundred families call Protea Valley Family Church home. We believe that as we follow Jesus we're called to live out four key principals:
Gospel centred Worship - all of life is to be lived for Jesus because of what he has done for us
Gosepl Centerd Discples - we are called to follow Jesus, not just believe in Him
Gospel Centred Community - we follow Jesus best when we do it together
Gospel Centred Mission - as we follow Jesus we persuade others to follow with us

Plugging in
Our homegroups are communities who meet midweek to share their life with Jesus together. This is where the rubber hits the road and we truly learn what it means to love and serve each other and follow Jesus in this complex world. Our groups are learning what it means to be on gospel fuelled mission in our neighbourhood for the good of our city.
Our groups are open to everyone whether you love Jesus or not and we'd encourage you to come and join one of our groups.

Sermons
The bible is not a moral code as much as it is a message from God to us that we might love him and live our lives for him through Jesus death on the cross and his resurrection to eternal life. This is the gospel - the good news, that God has saved us and that Jesus finished everything that needed to be done to be in a right relationship with the Father and we aim to make this good news as apparent as we can as often as we have the chance.
The public teaching and preaching of God’s word is of primary importance in our church and we aim to be relevant but scripturally sound as we teach God’s word.
